Miss Filipinas Worldwide — Casting Calls and Candidate Applications

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Miss Universe Philippines Canada Inc., organizer of Miss Filipinas Worldwide (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, candidate application website, and related casting communications.

Information we collect

Depending on the form you complete and the information you choose to provide, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, and preferred contact method.
  • Your city, province, country, and address where requested in the full application.
  • Your social media handles.
  • Your answers about your interests, experience, goals, availability, and casting readiness.
  • Your biography, personal statement, and headshot.
  • Information about agency or artist-management representation.
  • Messages and other information you provide during the application process.

The initial lead form collects an expression of interest. We may request additional information separately to assess eligibility or complete your application, explaining why it is needed at that time.

Please do not submit identification documents, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive information through our lead forms or social media messages.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and provide application information.
  • Review your interest and assess your application.
  • Contact you about casting, interviews, application requirements, and selection updates.
  • Coordinate your participation if you proceed.
  • Maintain application records and address questions or complaints.

We contact you through the method you select or use to contact us. Submitting an inquiry or application does not guarantee an audition, selection, or participation.

We will seek separate consent before using your contact details for unrelated promotional communications or retaining your application for future casting opportunities.

Consent and your choices

By submitting a form, you agree to the collection and use of the information you provide for the casting and application purposes explained in this policy and the form.

You may decline to provide optional information. If information needed to process your application is missing, we may be unable to assess it.

You may withdraw your consent to further contact or processing by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed, and some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or to resolve disputes.

Who may access your information

Access is limited to authorized team members, casting reviewers, and service providers who need the information to support the application process.

Service providers may include website and form hosting providers, communication services, and application-management tools. They may process information only as needed to provide their services, subject to applicable obligations.

We do not sell or rent applicant information or share it with sponsors for their own marketing.

We may disclose information where required or permitted by law.

Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms

When you submit information through Facebook or Instagram, Meta also processes information under its own privacy policy and terms. This policy covers our handling of information we receive.

Our website may link to other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Storage and security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No online service or transmission method is completely secure.

Depending on the providers used, your information may be stored or processed outside your province or Canada and may be subject to the laws of those locations.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to complete the casting and application process, handle related inquiries or disputes, and meet applicable legal requirements.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete it or make it anonymous. Retention for future casting opportunities requires separate consent.

Photographs and publicity

Headshots and personal statements submitted with an application are used for application review. Submission alone does not authorize us to publish your photograph, biography, or personal story for advertising or publicity. Any such use will be covered by a separate consent or release.

Applicants under the age of majority

Where applications from minors are permitted, we will obtain parent or legal guardian consent when required before proceeding. Submitting a form does not establish eligibility to participate.

Access, corrections, and privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern.

We may verify your identity before responding. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why.
